I’m glad you found me here. Maybe you are a caregiver, a parent with special needs, or someone who struggles with mental illness or chronic pain. And maybe you also are a follower of Jesus and that brings about a whole bunch of questions and concerns and mixed up feelings, right?

As Christians, we are never left to fend for ourselves. But when we have daily, ongoing trials, it’s easy to sway into the lane of unbelief. We are often lonely and depleted and wondering when and how God is going to show up.

I can identify with trials involving mental illness, caregiving, and special needs, and write and speak at the intersection of trials and truth. My goal is simple: to remind you that you really aren’t alone.

How can we experience real-life, grace-filled, daily saving and encouragement from God in difficult circumstances? Like most of us have learned in Sunday school, the best answer to every question is Jesus. But practically? How can the gospel change today? These are some of the topics I grapple with and write about for God’s glory and (Lord willing) our benefit. Please check out my books and my recent blog posts and feel free to look around. Thanks for stopping by.
