What’s the funniest thing your kid has ever said to you?

I am gearing up for another great season of speaking to MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups in Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.

I first started speaking two years ago to build my writing platform for my book.

I dreaded starting because I generally tend to like my bed more than people.

But I must say, I LOVE IT! Every time I speak to a group of women, I learn something. It’s fun, and challenging, and it gives this writer mama a reason to shower once a month.

Right now I am working on a new presentation called “Will I ever pee alone in peace again?”.

I’m looking for funny stories and anecdotes about moms and their kids for this talk.

So tell me, what’s the funniest thing your kid has ever said to you.

After meeting a lifesize robot at a party my 4 1/2 son (who is fascinated by all things electronic) said to me the following day, “Maybe that robot could be our mommy instead?!” Not quite sure exactly what he meant by it but I couldn’t stop laughing over his line of reasoning!! =) (and hey…somedays I wouldn’t mind having a robot to do all my housework!) ;)
